Kai Shu Ni –
The Dyson V8 is a great cordless wand vacuum that works even better than our Dyson “Ball” canister type, especially with pet hair. It is lightweight, flexible and the suction is excellent. The dirt canister is smaller than tank types, but is so easy to use that it is not a major issue. This unit is perfect for stairs and light to medium work in many rooms that would otherwise require moving cords, dragging a canister and more effort than this lightweight wand type requires. Very pleased with this unit overall.

I love the cordless idea of this and it works well. Battery lasts a good while unless you have it on high. I may never get out the clunky ball Dyson again!
My only complaint is the fact you have to hold the trigger constantly. It isn’t hard to hold down but for this much money, you would think Dyson could have designed it better.

Can’t say enough about this great vacuum. It is incredibly well built and easy to assemble. I have always hated vacuuming but now it is actually fun to quickly run through the house with little effort. Well worth every penny spent.
