They do not have the locking mechanism that most DisplayPort have, and sometimes the DisplayPort comes out of my PC thus making my screen go black.. It could be my PC case that is causing this.

I had a different DP to HDMI adapter and I was having issues getting it to output 2560 x 1440. Replaced it with this cable and the issue went away!

Plugged this in before I got the new video card and it made a noticeable difference. I was using a Sony HDMI cable before but it looked very thin wire wise, maybe an old one. I had to update my knowledge on the speeds of different things, hdmi, dp, and this wire which gets 12 Gbps. Really getting crisp image with the new 16 gig video card and 4k TV-monitor.
